If you can’t sip tea with the Queen, you can at least take a look at her Royal Collection. One of the most important in the world, it rotates all over thirteen royal residences, one of them Ediburgh’s Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The Queen’s Gallery houses temporary exhibitions – from the Mechanics of Man with da Vinci’s handwritten notes, to luxurious costume and jewelry collections from the time of the Stewart monarchs. The little ones can get the Art Spy family activity bags and go on a secret mission to find out secrets hidden in the collections. The entry ticket is valid for a year, to all exhibitions and events.
