Brighton Digital Festival is set to become even more experimental as it moves into its second week, with a fantastic day of DIY digital arts – Bring Your Own Beamer. Hosted at the Brighton Dome’s Corn Exchange the collaborative event is now spread over two days; with a chance to watch artists experiment with projection art and moving image in a ‘creative free-for-all’.
Organised by Pop Up Brighton the event is bigger and better than ever, including curated project-based installations, a short film cinema, and a whole day of workshops on Saturday. The workshop series commences from 1pm on Saturday and includes ‘Yoga in a Digital Forest’, ‘Make your own collaged 16mm film’ and a series of Artists’ Talks.
Bring Your Own Beamer takes place on Friday 16th September from 7pm – 10pm, and Saturday 17th September from 1pm – 10pm at Brighton’s Corn Exchange. Tickets are free but limited – for more information, click here.
