When summer arrives, there’s no shortage of outdoor events to be found here in Bristol, and surely the annual Bristol Comedy Garden has to be one of the highlights of the city’s festival calendar. This year’s fifth edition, promising six nights of hilarity, is set to be the best yet.

This much-loved comedy extravaganza one again promises is cracking line-up. Comedy lovers will flock to Bristol’s beautiful Queen Square in the city centre to enjoy a host of top-notch acts against a stunning backdrop. This time around, you can expect to enjoy shows featuring the likes of pop-culture obsessed Canadian Katherine Ryan, the revered Stewart Lee and the provocative Reginald D. Hunter. What’s more, they’ve got one-liner maestro Milton Jones, Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Bridget Christie, lo-fi genius David O’Doherty, plus a must see for Bowie fans, Adam Buxton’s BUG: David Bowie special.

In addition to class comedy acts, bars, street-food traders and music will also descend upon this part of the city. What more could you want from a night out?
