Up-and-coming theatre company Brief Hiatus bring the third production of their 2016 season ‘Little Deaths’ to the Brighton Open Air Theatre this week. Their penchant for drag, sexual ambiguity and black comedy is sure to be perfectly served by Thomas Middleton’s classic The Revenger’s Tragedy, in a production that will make you question everything you thought you knew about Jacobean drama.
The Revenger’s Tragedy is directed by Brief Hiatus co-founder Conor Baum whose recent credits include Gertrude – The Cry and Spring Awakening; productions recognised Brighton-wide for leaving shockwaves in their wake. Part of Brighton Open Air’s last week of productions for the summer, Brief Hiatus close their season with their ‘filthiest, funniest and downright dirtiest production yet’.
The Revenger’s Tragedy takes place at Brighton Open Air Theatre from Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd September at 7pm. Tickets are £10 (£5 for concessions) – for more information or to book, click here.
