Get ready for the hotly anticipated return of Bristol Summer Series 2016, which promises a whole host of live outdoor concerts, complete with some of the hottest acts around playing to 5,000 fans every night for four nights. As always, the headliner lineup is an exciting one, and the stage will be set on Bristol’s beautiful Harbourside at Lloyds Amphitheatre – the perfect backdrop for summer sounds.
This fantastic concert series will kick off on Wednesday, with 2016 BRIT Award winner James Bay. Next up on Thursday, Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós make their long-awaited return to Bristol after nine years with their signature ethereal set. Friday evening promises an energetic performance from The Last Shadow Puppets, featuring Miles Kane (The Rascals) and Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys). This will be their first show in Bristol and one of only a few in the UK this year, following the release of their upcoming new album Everything You’ve Come to Expect early April 2016. Catfish and the Bottlemen – winners of the prestigious British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards 2016 – close the festival in style on Saturday evening
There are a handful of tickets left, so get in there quickly to make sure you don’t miss out.
