South Ealing rejoice, a firm favourite returns this week with the reopening of Ealing Park Tavern going ahead on Wednesday. The much loved west London local was taken over by Ed and Tom Martin’s ETM Group and closed for four months while it underwent a complete refurbishment. In case you’re wondering about Ed and Tom, they’re the guys behind The Hat & Tun, The Cadogan Arms and Chiswell Street Dining Rooms. Suffice to say, Ealing Park Tavern’s in safe hands.
The most exciting of all changes has to be the instalment of the pub’s very own microbrewery, meaning the Tavern will be serving their very own bitters and ales. There will also be premium bottled lager, classic cocktails and more than 100 wines on the drinks list.
There’s also a 60-cover restaurant inside that will be serving tasty British fare, such as Pie of the Day, Chop of the Day, Jugged Hare pale ale battered fish and chips, and the one that got us salivating the most: the rib n’ shin burger with triple cooked chips.
Get yourself over there on a Sunday because the pub’s also setting the standard by laying claim that they serve the best Sunday roast in London. Watch this space.
