Anyone who has been to a Horse Meat Disco night will understand that those guys know how to throw a party. And as they approach their 10th anniversary the parties are just getting meatier and more horsey…err, you know what we mean.
After a momentous 2013, which saw them host sold out disco parties all around the world, including massive summer festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival and Vivid. And now they’re back in London. East London, to be precise, in the ever popular XOYO on Friday 14th March – playing until the wee hours of the following morn.
Channelling the dance scene of 70s and 80s New York expect deep disco, Italo, punk funk, house, electro and a wee bit of techno. And fun. Definitely fun.
Also expect a solid line-up for the night: Lindstrom, Tim Sweeney, Severino, James Hillard, Jim Stanton, Luke Howard, Kiwi and Homoelectric will keep bodies dancing all night. And, of course, the quartet that is Horse Meat Disco.
As a precursor to the 10-year anniversary this night is going to be a big one. And at £12.50 a ticket, it’s a steal for some horse meat and fun. Always a good combo.
