This September, immerse yourself in some of history’s greatest films at the Lost World – the latest pop-up offering from Backyard Cinema. Entering through a secret entrance of temple ruins, guests will have to navigate their way through a dense jungle to find the specially decked out screening room, complete with giant beanbags and a totally tropical cocktail bar.
Cinema-goers will be treated to some of the greatest hits, from classics like The Goonies and the 1967 Jungle Book, to modern mega-hits like Madagascar and Jurassic World.
First brought to life in its founder’s back garden, Backyard Cinema is a roaming, theatrical pop-up that aims to provide guests with a wide variety of iconic screenings that can all be enjoyed from carefully curated and entirely unique locations.
“This is a theme that is close to our hearts,” said founder Dominic Davies – ” a true homage to the action and adventure movies we grew up on and keep coming back to. We want to enhance your nostalgia for them by creating a real sense of adventure as we take you on a journey to another world.”
The Lost World launches on Friday September 16th with Jurassic Park. Tickets range from £9.50 for kids, to a £65 “date night” deal that includes bubbly, a selection of snacks and blankets.
