Bristol-based duo and bass music pacesetters My Nu Leng seem to be making quite the punching profile with notorious releases on Black Butter and MTA Records to their name. Now they’re ready to launch their FABRICLIVE 86 mix and have gathered a remarkable slew of guests to make it one memorable party.
Joining the line-up for Friday night’s launch will be Breakage, Woz, b2b New York Transit Authority, Jus Now and more — all enlisted to bring the percussive and street sounds that have helped mould the shape of bass music today.
Tommy and Jammo, aka My Nu Leng have taken the underground community by storm with their energetic and combustible sets. Impossible to categorize specifically as they draw on an array of influences, swaying from pitch shifted vocals to bass heavy rumbles and inevitably giving insight into the grime, dubstep and garage of their adopted hometown.
Now they bring their diverse, incendiary sound to the FABRICLIVE series. FABRICLIVE86 will be released on 18th March and serves as homage to the influences that have made My Nu Leng what they are today. With an eclectic mix of subversive anthems interlaced with new and unreleased material, the album takes the listener through the fascinating and complex workflow of the young duo.
And you can get it first-hand this Friday night at Fabric.
