The 2016 edition of Bristol Pride kicks off on July 1 and continues all the way through to July 10. Along the way, there will be various events taking place throughout the city, including the eagerly anticipated Pride Parade on Pride Day (Saturday 9th July) at the iconic Lloyds Amphitheatre and Millennium Square.
Bristol Pride is one of the largest Pride events in the UK. In fact, it’s also one of the city’s biggest events – and it’s free to attend, too. Pride is a celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, organised by the LGBT community. Pride is the chance for all LGBT+ people, their friends, families and allies to stand up and declare they are proud of who they are and their loved ones.
Bristol Pride Day begins with the Pride Parade, followed by an epic outdoor music festival with entertainment across multiple stages. Top acts from this year’s lineup incdlue Rozalla, Lucy Spraggan, DeltAmour and A*M*E* and plenty more.
You will also find onsite play and creative activities and community and family areas, as well as licensed bar, food concessions, market stalls and more.
