Fancy upping your cocktail skills in prep for the festive season? Well best head to The Folly where you can join Haig Club for a bespoke masterclass, set up in the stylish surrounds of The Lounge. Thanks to David Beckham’s nonchalant attitude and overall sophistication in the advert for Haig Club, it’s now vital that we too attempt to master the art of such coolness, and we think this class of shaking and serving classic Negroni’s might get us there.
The pop-up will run until the end of November, and guests will learn how to shake and serve cocktails, whilst a dessert and drink demonstration will attest that you can also prepare a delicious crème brulee under the influence (…one for the recipe, two for me).
Moreover, this is quite a classy masterclass, thanks to the elegant interiors and relaxing atmosphere of The Lounge. It will actually feel like you’re tucked away in a warm, Scottish living room, kicking back in wee dram style.
And even if you feel like you haven’t quite mastered the art of Beckham’s “savoir faire” by the end of it, at least you will have several fine whisky cocktails in your repertoire —and that’s sure to have its perks.
