Cone Magazine celebrates its 1st birthday with an evening of carefully curated events inspired by the magazine’s ethos to inform, educate and entertain.
It’s been quite a year for the left-field music, arts and culture magazine, which recently moved out of the bedroom and into its own café, establishing a buzzing creative environment with fresh food and speciality coffee on tap.
The evening will kick off with a series of industry talks exploring the mechanics of the music industry (speakers will include booking agents, record label owners and synthesizer designers) at Cone headquarters, The Grind Café.
Once all that informing and educating is out of the way, entertainment will commence within The Island’s underground prison cells. DJ sets will see the Cone team take to the decks, followed by Stamp The Wax and SPE:C Records.
Friday 18 December, 7pm – 3am, Tickets £6-10
