Love a good G&T? Then make sure you head along to the Graphic Gin Off where 16 top-notch gin brands will compete in the ultimate juniper-infused battle of the bottles.

The interactive series will start on Monday 18th April at Graphic Bar in Soho — a gin enthusiasts heaven with its impressive (and London’s largest) collection of over 300 world-class gins.

So what happens precisely at this tournament? Well, besides a lot of gin drinking and cheering, the participating brands will create imaginative bespoke cocktails to be judged in a series of four intense rounds, with the grand finale taking place in November. Members of the public and industry experts alike will be well-educated and entertained with the plethora of different gins in this cocktail-fuelled exploration and be given polling cards to cast their vote.

It’s a highly competitive event — this Graphic Gin Off is serious business. The number of competitors has doubled since 2015 to involve a wider collection of brands — both international and British. Challengers rising to this year’s prestigious title include Canadian Ungava, Dutch Bols Genever, American Boodles, Plymouth, Hayman’s, Whitley Neill, Sipmith , Slingsby and Silent Pool, to name a few. The brand taking first place will be presented with a Copper Still Trophy, as well as their winning cocktail appearing on the 2017 Graphic Gin Off menu —a noble reminder of the standards set for next years’ contenders.

Not a gin guru or juniper virtuoso? Don’t worry — Graphic Gin Off is a fun and approachable event that merely knows how to throw a party and celebrate the popular, diverse and constantly evolving spirit. A Master of Ceremonies will host the evening, and the in-house DJ is set to provide some cracking tunes for the cocktail shaking and stirring to play along to.

Award-winning mixologists, gin lovers, complete gin-amateurs — the feted title is yours to vote on and observe. And at £10 a pop to head along to a series event, it’s totally worth the great night out.
