Indian food isn’t something we generally associate with being a healthy, nutritious diet — traditional cooking methods use a lot of ghee or butter, and who can pass up a cheesy naan? Well, we don’t necessarily have to — as Mira Manek is revolutionising our perceptions of Indian cuisine with her healthier alternatives that aren’t heavy, replete with flavour and full of spiced vitality.
Mira is renowned for her range of products being free from refined sugar, dairy and gluten, making it the perfect collaboration to host a range of yoga brunches, feasts and supper clubs.
So indeed it’s only imperative that Mira continues to showcase her pioneering of healthy Indian food with a one off supper club at 108 Pantry. On Wednesday 27th April at 7pm, guests will have the chance to join Mira for a delectable nine course meal at the gorgeous venue in Edwardian townhouse in Marylebone.
Undeniably, this is a very apt location — the chic all-day dining space is a top destination for healthy food lovers as it serves up plenty of moorish dishes that are full of zest and nutritional benefit. Moreover, it is renowned for pleasing the palates of those with gluten-and-dairy intolerances who fancy a flavour-packed feed.
The evening with Mira will start with a welcome cocktail, followed by a nine course vegetarian sharing style menu. Expect to indulge in culinary delights such as Red Lentil daal & garlic Labneh, Tamarind & orange quinoa bhel and Spices courgette slaw. A selection of her toothsome signature dishes, such as Masala grilled aubergine and saffron lime cheesecake will also be on the table.
