Smokey Tails are at last, going permanent. No longer roving around the globe after a series of residencies in Melbourne, Sydney, Miami and Amsterdam — Seth Troxler’s dirty & delicious BBQ restaurant have decided to set up shop at the iconic music venue Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen.
The new 64 cover Smokey Tails restaurant will offer lazy lunch and Midwest weekend brunch options, with a snack menu of ‘hand to mouth’ food served throughout the neighbouring bar area.
Smokey Tails is known for its rich, deep, home styled BBQ flavours inspired by the home-cooked food Seth grew up with. Drawing from Seth’s three-generation old family recipe book, the menu delves into genuine Midwestern cuisine, as well as creating a new world of fresh feeling delicacies spurred on by years travelling to the far corners of the globe.
The hearty family food they’ll be salivating our tastebuds with will incorporate share plates, exotic salad combos, ridiculously good sides, divine deserts and cocktails crafted to pair perfectly with the finger-licking food. Pray warning: don’t wear white. We all know things can get messy when good grub is on the table.
Expect dishes such as: Spicy Sofrito Smoked Pork with Pineapple Salsa; Apple Wood Smoked Buffalo Chicken Wings; Smoked Halloumi with bitter leaves and burnt ketchup and Cherry Woodsmoked Lamb Ribs.
The iconic music venue overlooking Hoxton square is all prepped to welcome Smokey Tails into their restaurant. It’s going to be a smokin’ place to dine, drink, and dance, that’s for sure.
Opens Friday 22nd April 2016
