Shaun Bloodworth is a Sheffield-based photographer who’s spent years documenting the UK’s rich underground music scene on a level quite unlike anyone else. Turning his avid passion for electronic music into a career, Shaun has snapped a pivotal selection of key players and trend-setting collectives. Working with Rinse, FWD, Bleep, Tempa, and countless others, his lens has given outsiders insight into some of the world’s most influential artists and history’s greatest gigs.
Unfortunately Shaun has taken ill this year. After a lengthy stay in hospital, he suffered an infection that led to having his leg amputated, and he is now due to receive a liver transplant. It’s critical that Shaun receive a new liver soon, and as a self-employed photographer, his lengthy stay in hospital, and subsequent rehabilitation has made an already terrible situation worse.
Hosted by XOYO, #raveforshaun sees a cross-section of some of electronic music’s biggest DJs and producers hit the stage for an unmissable, one-off fundraiser. Mary Ann Hobbs, Alexander Nut, Benga, Rustie, Roska, Loefah and Plastician are just a few of the names headlining, as well as a couple of very special surprise guests.
Now is your chance to give back to one of the music industry’s most loved – and with a line-up like this, you’ll undoubtedly become a part of London nightlife history.
