Your Saturday night just got even more surreal than seeing Leonardo DiCaprio at your local pub holding his Oscar in one hand and pint in the other. The Ministry of Sound continues to thrill us clubbers with a new theatrical series titled “The Ting Tong Club” —promising plenty of after-dark action and a scantily-clad, bizarre, twisted fantasy for all attendees.
The new dramatic, sexy and bonkers club concept has been curated by London-based creative consultancy MHc, Mark Herman Creative (taking charge as Creative Producer) and Scottish-born illustrator and digital artist, Reilly – notorious for his fusion of pop culture, pattern and art historical references.
Ting Tong Club will bring together a crew of insensible, impromptu actors and gritty house music for an immersive night of curious events — some may find themselves arrested for peculiar crimes by the ‘Ninja Police Squad’; others given secret codes by ‘The Neo Twins’ for an ever-tempting ‘Ting & Tonic’.
Launching on Saturday 12th March, hot-to-trot Riton — of ‘Rinse and Repeat’ — will layer on an incredibly captivating musical set. Spanish duo Los Suruba will also be on hand to provide some underground beats, whilst London club culture torch bearer Hannah Holland is set to lead the soon-to-be Ministry jail, The Can House.
High fashion freaks Religion will be dressing the event up in merchandise and gifting special guest tees. There will also be free passes for 600 guests who sign up via Jukely, inviting London’s most motley crew to share in The Ting Tong Club’s inaugural craziness. The rest is for them to find out…
And that you will. Ministry of Sound never fails to impress us — it’s the official institution for club culture and fun, with a capital F.
First event is being held this Saturday 12th March, with four subsequent events being held through to September 2016 (dates TBA)
