Proving that Hackney-dwellers and beyond are always ravenous for a slice of thrifty-yet-stylish vintage shopping, the inaugural East London Vintage Fair last May was packed to Clapton Round Chapel’s rafters. Returning this month (and every second Sunday thereafter) the ELVF will no doubt continue to prove itself to be the area’s go-to spot for high-end-haute and flea market finds.
Retailing everything from the 1920s to the 1990s and in-between, the East London Vintage Fair will host 40 stalls of lovingly curated clothing and items from Portobello stall holders and handpicked sellers from the south of England. In fact, don’t be surprised if you find yourself embroiled in a celeb tug-of-war over a that 80s leather bomber, our spies spotted Clemence Posey, Natasha Kahn and Petit Meller perusing the rails last month.
Once more the stunning location will be transformed into an inspirational shopping space for attendees to browse through vintage ladies, mens and kids clothing, 20th century homewares, antiques, curiosities, up-cycled goods, apothecary, flowers, jewellery, street food and our vintage tea rooms.
