It’s Friday night, you’re still in your work clothes and that brief feeling of respite, the weekend, is only just settling in. And yet, there you are; jumping out of a helicopter, exploring the unchartered ravines of Patagonia and carving perfect lines on untouched mountain, defiantly marking your territory with crisp tracks that snake satisfyingly behind you. You’re bricking it, obviously, but it’s all okay because you’ve got a cool beer in your hand and a veritable avalanche of snacks heading your way. Also, you’re in a cinema in Whitechapel and if it all gets too much, you can cast aside your 3D glasses and take 5 in the toilet.
Since the dawn of
time cinema, man and woman alike have enjoyed the delights of filmography enhanced with refreshments. Feed Me Films goes one step further, providing the ultimate immersive experience, “using food to bring you closer to the films you love”. For one night and one night only, Feed Me Films is showcasing Red Bull Media House’s iconic The Art of Flight documentary, teaming up with Big Apple Hot Dogs and Milo & Hectors for a night of gourmet entertainment.
Famed for their weird and wonderful creations, Feed Me Films tailor-made experiences also offer a range of mysterious film snacks to be consumed en-masse coinciding with specific scenes. Previous events have seen audiences wearing jawbreaker ball-gags with Marsellus in Pulp Fiction, hoovering up mysterious ‘powder’ in Goodfellas and knocking back endless White Russians with The Dude in a bowling alley.
From the Alps to Alaska and Patagonia, The Art of Flight is an adrenalin fuelled adventure about pushing yourself to extreme limits; an epic quest that sees Travis Rice and friends on an insane journey to do the unthinkable. Expect universally stunning cinematography, a killer soundtrack and, probably, an irrepressible urge to get out on the mountain yourself.
